Cetechs is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) is looking for Nurse Practitioners to join our team to serve as Medical Officer of the Day (MOD), in rotation/scheduled with other members of the team at St. Cloud VA Health Care System.  

Coverage hours are 4:00p.m. – 8:00a.m., Monday through Friday, day, evening and nights on Federal Holidays and weekends. Schedule is completed 90 days in advance. 


Scope of Care (
Full description provided at time of phone screen): MOD shall be responsible for providing Medical Officer of the Day services including, but not limited to:

  • Inpatient care for all bedded programs; domiciliary, nursing home care units, inpatient psychiatry, and mental health residential program.
  • Outpatient services in a clinic setting or Urgent Care.
  • Evaluation and basic care to all Nursing Home, Acute Psychiatry, Residential patients.
  • Evaluation and basic medical care to UC patients when requested as time permits. Hospitalization and specialty referrals will be directed to the appropriate facility or community facility.  Emergent care will be coordinated within the community. 
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Education: Master's or Doctoral Degree in Nursing
  • Experience: 2 years' experience as APRN.
  • Licensure: Shall have a current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia).
  • Certifications: Shall be nationally certified in one of the following specialties: Adult Health, Geriatric, Family or Primary Care. Advanced Practice Professional (APRN) employees shall maintain National Certification and a Basic Life Support (BLS) for the duration of employment with Cetechs.  
  • Active DEA
  • Must be a US Citizen.
